Description/Job Summary


Quality Assurance Auditor will be capable of doing routine to complex quality assurance tasks.   Must have excellent ability to measure and test parts to specifications, electronically record data, and initiate corrective actions as applicable.  Limited ability to complete larger, more complex projects may also be required.  A minimum of 1 year experience in a production/manufacturing environment is required and a Certified Quality Auditor certificate is preferred.


Include the following, other duties may be assigned.

  • Completes line clearance duties, including: verification of job order elements, material and labels; verification of auxiliary equipment, tools and fixtures; confirms work instructions and operator training.
  • Performs in-process product audits in a manufacturing environment, according to product specifications and procedures. Includes checking product weights, documentation, review of mold books and completing a written report.
  • Performs product testing per QAS requirements.
  • Conducts periodic process audits as requested and completes necessary documentation.
  • Issues NCMR for non-conforming materials, establishing a clean point and coordinating retrieval of discrepant product from warehouse. Monitors rework activities and provides final dispositions of NCMR’s.
  • Assists shift personnel with quality issues and/or measurement techniques.
  • Must have regular, reliable attendance and willing to work outside the regular schedule as required.
  • Willing to handle job stress and interact with others in the workplace.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school graduate or equivalent, some related college preferred.  A minimum of 1 year experience in a production/manufacturing environment is required. Experience in Plastic Injection and/or Blow Molding is desired.
  • Responsible for accurate data input into databases.
