Claims Coordinator will research, process and review all submitted shortage, damage, late delivery and POD rebate claims by customer within a timely manner. Claims must be handled and processed per management direction and communicated effectively
to customers for prompt resolution.
Review, sort and enter customer claim data into system.
Analyze data and prepare claims report for management approval.
Propose resolution of claims to management.
Communicate and confirm claims resolution to customer and sales.
Provide monthly summary reporting and analysis as needed by management.
Maintain records of all claims processed and the resolution and communication.
Ensure all claims have proper approval documents and records per the respective claim issue.
Reconcile and resolve A/R balances on customer's accounts related to the claims issues.
Follow up on all settlements and resolutions to customers to make sure re-payments are done or
credits are issued and offset properly.
Other duties as directed by organization or supervisor.
High School Graduate or G.E.D or higher
Must have excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills especially with Excel; MS Access would be a plus
Must have excellent math and analytical skills
Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular schedule as required.
Demonstrate exceptional teamwork and customer service; behave professionally; treat others with respect and dignity.
Physical requirements include duties common to a regular office environment.
Must have good oral and written communication skills
