Description/Job Summary

The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for planning and directing the electrical/mechanical activities of the company including technical support, general administration, and inventory management.

  • MUST have excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Having working knowledge of the National Electric Code, and city codes.
  • Should have working knowledge of trade tools, and shop techniques.
  • The ability to plan a detailed work scope, such as having a logical approach of the job task that is needed, compiling a bill of materials, estimate time frame of job completion, knowledge of resources that is required, and accurate costing.
  • Must have knowledge and skill set to sketch and interpret wiring schematics and diagrams.
  • MUST have the ability to take all safety precautions and proper isolations of all energy devices.
  • Assemble, inspect, adjust, repair or replace faulty electrical and mechanical parts.
  • Ability to make technical and electrical repairs when required in connection when servicing of electronic and industrial equipment. Equipments description as follows: vacuum pumps, air compressors, chillers, vacuum loaders, extruders, printing presses, bag machines, winders and auxiliary equipment.
  • Must be proficient in AC & DC drives. Must be able to program, install and trouble shoot when needed.
  • Must be proficient or least have working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers, meters and counters.
  • Must have the ability to build control panels and configure wiring schemes.
  • Assist when necessary with in-house design and fabrication of equipment.


  • GED or HS diploma
  • 1-3 years manufacturing environment experience preferred.
  • Basic math skills and mechanical abilities
  • Must be able to speak, read and write the English language
